It is a pleasure to finally present you Martí Ruiz's Ph.D work on
Baschet Soundsculpture's acoustic system.You can donwload it for free,

presents the files related to about 60 original pieces we have analyzed,
as well as other informations in which we base our statements. We hope
this work will help spreading the Baschet ideas, as well as should
contribute pushing the evolution of their priniples on creativity for
real science-art interdisciplinarity. By now, this
Ph.D document is written in Catalan,-Ruiz's most fluent and acurate
language- filled with English, French, Spanish Baschet's quotations. We
hope we will find ways to translate the document into other languages.

Our study -based on original documentary sources and field work- provides a reading of the corpus of work under the light of the conceptual system developed by Baschet, to ease the understanding of
acoustic principles and their applications as well. The aim of this thesis is to highlight the technical and aesthetic aspects -in relation to the vital statements of Baschet respect the notion of Sound Sculpture as an object for public participation- to encourage ponder and help laying the foundation for conservation, research and further development, while inserting naturally in the path of the Baschet Sound Sculpture.

el sistema acústic de l'Escultura Sonora Baschet. La podeu descarregar

El primer llibre ofereix una visió general de la nostra temàtica; el
llibre d'annexos presenta les fitxes d'unes 60 peces originals que hem
analitzat, així com altres informacions en les que basem les nostres
afirmacions. Esperem que aquest treball ajudarà a estendre les idees
Baschet així com hauria contribuir a empènyer l'evolució dels seus
principis sobre la creativitat per una interdisciplinarietat art-ciència
real.
Per ara, aquesta tesi està escrita en Català,
-la llengua en la que Ruiz és més fluïd i acurat-, i plena de cites dels
Baschet en anglès, francès i castellà. Esperem que trobarem maneres de
traduir el document a d'altres llengues.
Aquí en teniu l'abstract:El nostre estudi -basat en les fonts documentals originals i el treball de camp-, aporta una lectura del corpus de l’obra a la llum del sistema conceptual desenvolupat pels Baschet, per facilitar la comprensió dels principis acústics i les seves aplicacions. L’objectiu d’aquesta tesi és posar en valor aspectes estètics i tècnics -en relació als posicionaments vitals dels Baschet respecte la noció de l’Escultura Sonora com a objecte de participació pública-, per afavorir la reflexió i contribuir a
establir les bases per a la conservació, recerca i desenvolupaments posteriors, tot inserint-se naturalment en la pròpia trajectòria de l’Escultura Sonora Baschet.
